Introducing new corals to the aquarium can be risky business– many carry nearly invisible unwanted pests that can reproduce and wreak havoc on your system. For this reason, it is always recommended to perform a coral dip before adding a new frag to your reef. Unfortunately, commercially-available coral dips can be limited in their effectiveness, or even overly harsh and damaging to the corals themselves.

Red Sea has created DipX for quickly and safely removing any unwanted hitchhikers without causing unnecessary harm to your corals. This herbal formula uses a well-researched blend of essential oils that can be safely used on all types of corals, as well as live rock, to effectively remove pests in as little as 15 minutes.

Instructions

1. Shake well before use.
2. To a separate container, mix 10mL of DipX for each 1L of aquarium water. Stir gently.
3. Fully submerge coral/rock in DipX for 15 minutes, swirling gently every few minutes.
4. Remove coral/rock from solution and wash with clean seawater before placing in aquarium.
5. Prepared DipX bath may be reused for up to 4 batches of corals. Discard within 2 hours of preparation.

Do NOT add DipX directly to aquarium.

What is PolypLab One?:

PolypLab One is engineered from two forms of acetate and hydroxide salts. When dosed, the calcium magnesium ions are freely available for uptake by corals, clams, and many other reef organisms. The acetate ions are metabolized by bacteria to create biologically available biocarbonate. The hydroxide salts provide further buffering capabilities.

– Does not elevate salinity.

Directions:

Fill bottle with Reverse osmosis water and shake, add RO water until level is up to the neck of the bottle. your product is ready to be use. Shake well before each use. For every 50 gallons of total aquarium volume, dose 1-4 capfuls (5-20mL) in an area with good and away from direct contact with corals. Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use.

This product will temporarily cloud aquarium water after dosing so it is recommended to dose ONE at night.

NOTE: To avoid spoilage refrigerate unused portion after opening, do not place more than one week’s dosage in the container, and wash the dosing container between refills. When using LED lighting, increase the dose if corals are not growing even if there are no signs of photoinhibition.
